The Launch at the Apalachee River

The Launch at River’s End is a quiet gated recreational area located along the banks of the Apalachee River on the north end of the community. Property owners are able to access this area for fishing, picnicking, or just spending a quiet Sunday afternoon reading a book on the observation deck. Canoes or kayaks can be launched from this area to begin a winding 3-hour float down the Apalachee River, ending at the Headwater’s amenity area.

This very unique recreational common area is a place where all residents of the community will want to spend time enjoying nature’s natural amenities. The Headwaters is located at the confluence of the Apalachee River and Hard Labor Creek which form the headwaters of Lake Oconee. Access to these exciting waters is provided by a boat ramp suitable for launching or recovering of water craft.
